A women’s day retreat of sacred sound, voice, movement, kirtan and embodied reclamation.
Śakti Unleashed is a women’s day retreat for the reclamation of voice, body and life-force through sacred sound, mantra, movement, kirtan and stillness.
Śakti Unleashed is for women who long to reclaim their voice, soften shame, return to the body, open devotion, and remember their sacredness.
This work arises from my own journey of healing profound trauma and places of powerlessness, discovering again and again that sacred sound can become a pathway back to the body, the voice, the heart and our inner creative and erotic fire.
Through mantra, movement, voice and devotion, I have learned to meet the places that were silenced, exiled or made small and to gently reclaim the power, tenderness, grief, joy and life-force held within them.
Śakti Unleashed is therefore a deep space of reclamation and remembering.
A space to return to the body as sacred.
A space to remember the voice as holy.
A space to honour the feminine life-force as wisdom, fire, fluidity and love.
The day will include:
Sacred sound, Sanskrit mantra and kirtan
We will enter mantra as a living field of vibration, devotion and remembrance.
Activating viśuddha cakra, the throat centre
Through sounding the mātṛkā — the divine mother letters of Sanskrit — we will gently awaken the throat as a place of truth, expression and sacred sound.
Gentle embodied movement
Movement to support us in reconnecting with our fluidity, our breath, and our bodies as vessels of sound.
Space for grief, joy, tenderness and fire
A held space where our Śakti and life-force can be welcomed, remembered and rekindled.
Yoga nidrā, rest and restoration
Time to soften, integrate, receive and allow the sound to settle deeply into the body.
No previous experience of Sanskrit, singing, kirtan or movement is needed.

What To Expect

Devotional songs and mantras guided by the harmonium and drum, creating a vibrant, heart-opening atmosphere

No experience needed — anyone is welcome to join in, sing, or simply listen and receive

Practices can be experienced sitting, standing, lying down, or moving, honouring your body and comfort

Space to receive the medicine of sound even if you choose not to sing

For Studios
Śakti Unleashed is available as a guest day retreat for yoga studios, retreat spaces, women’s circles and sacred community spaces.
This retreat can be offered in two ways: either hosted by your studio as part of your programme, or held within your space through a simple venue-hire arrangement.
Day retreat format: usually 9.00am–6.00pm
Group size: around 10–20 women
I bring:
Harmonium, voice, mantra, sacred sound, retreat structure, facilitation and the held devotional field.
The venue provides:
A warm practice space, mats and blankets if available, and tea/lunch arrangements if desired.
Exchange:
Fixed facilitator fee, revenue share, or space hire arrangement.
This work is held by an experienced facilitator with over 15 years of direct experience working with kuṇḍalinī śakti, as well as many years of holding groups, retreats and transformational spaces.
My training includes women’s yoga therapy, psychosynthesis coaching and yoga nidrā, woven together with a deep personal and devotional relationship with sacred sound, Sanskrit mantra and embodied Śakti.
Śakti Unleashed is for spaces that feel called to offer women something deeper than a workshop.
It is a day of reclamation, remembrance and return — a space where women are invited to come home to the body as sacred, the voice as holy, and the life-force as something wise, powerful and divine.
