Serving Truth, Freedom and Love
The Untamed Body
Wild Womb Women
I started my yoga work with women by calling my classes Womb Yoga. However, as the work has evolved, I realise that this name no longer fits what the offering is becoming and neither it is yoga as it is currently envisaged.
My classes remain focused on connecting with, honouring and liberating our wombs and Shakti. But it's become clear to me that the underlying intention is broader than this. A descent to the River Beneath the River. Peeling back the layers of conditioning that keep us trapped in habitual ways of reacting and coming home to a truer, more authentic version of ourselves.

It feels important to honour the evolution of the work so that what I offer itself does not become trapped in preconceived ideas and a rigid framework. We will continue to explore with Yoga Nidra, Radical Rest, mudra, mantra and slow, rhythmic movement. We will continue to learn what it is to honour the impulses of our bodies and our deepest needs. And we will allow increasing spaciousness and time to dissolve into the stillness, the emptiness that is the wellspring of our deepest creativity, nourishment and truth.

As a teacher I am increasingly letting go of all planning and agenda and allowing my own inner wisdom and the wisdom present in the field each time we gather to guide and inform what is most needed. I am committed to being in deep service of the space each week rather than what feels familiar, safe and easy to market. To deeply enter into the mystery.
I continue to be inspired by the work of Uma Dinsmore Tuli for many years and last year, completed my Yoni Shakti Yoga Therapy for Women's Health Training. I love the grace, flow and deep love and respect for our wombs, bodies and hearts that Womb Yoga teaches us.

Most recently I have been deeply called to the beautiful work of Emilie Conrad. To her understanding that our bodies are the microcosm of the macrocosm and that by working with our fluid system, we can rediscover our resonance with all that is.

The classes are suitable for women of all life stages including those completely new to these practices. We meet in a gorgeous purpose built studio with luxurious underfloor heating, a tea and coffee area and a deeply feminine vibe.
